Selected to Publish Tao Porchon-Lynch Autobiography

We are honored that Power Living Media has been selected to publish the inspirational autobiography of 96-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch.

In 2012, Tao asked Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy (her student and Power Living Founder) and Janie Sykes-Kennedy (journalist and marketing consultant) to collaborate on the writing of her book. It's been an incredible process - interviewing Tao, traveling with her, delving into her teachings and understanding her journey. Putting together the book has been like a big puzzle. Tao's life itself reads like a novel. 

Fast forward to 2014, after over 50 hours of interview footage and 100,000 words written, Tao made another decision. In the midst of talking to major publishers, Tao decided - in the spirit of doing things right away - that she didn't want to wait another 18 months. She wanted to bypass the long, traditional process and hold the book in her hands sooner.

So, in September 2014, Tao asked Teresa Kennedy if she could accelerate the process and publish it through her niche press, Power Living Media. Of course, we said yes and are incredibly grateful!
