      • How would it be to live each day full of optimism, gratitude and belief in your own limitless potential? Born in 1918,
Tao Porchon-Lynch showed us what is possible as she crossed the globe taught yoga, shared insights and did ballroom dance competitions. Shining Bright: Quotes and Images to Inspire Optimism, Gratitude & Belief In Your Limitless Potential is Tao's inspirational gift book. Embedded in this little book is the essence of who she was--the thoughts and words that kept her spirit enriched and alive.

Tao's award-winning autobiography, Dancing Light: The Spiritual Side of Being Through the Eyes of a Modern Yoga Master, takes us on an incredible odyssey through 20th century history from marching with Mahatma Gandhi and helping Jews escape the Nazis in World War II to being an actress, model, producer, publisher, dancer and yoga master we see today. Many asked about a sequel since Tao's life was still so full. At an age when most people have slowed down, she was ready for the next adventure. From when she used to "listen to the grass grow" as a child, she learned how to tap into the core essence of life, what she calls the "Eternal Energy." This Life Force was her adrenaline. Despite three hip replacements, she seemed to have boundless vitality.

Tao's light, along with her words of wisdom, is her present to us.  So, we thought it would be fitting to put her insights in the form of a gift book--just the right size for you to carry with you and be reminded of your own possibilities. It is a perfect dose of inspiration to give loved ones and colleagues. We chose seventy of Tao's favorite quotes and matched them with original images from age 96 to 99. These are not from staged shoots. This is Tao in motion doing what she loves. In order to witness the scope of her escapades, we've indicated when and where each photo was taken--from Dubai and Mumbai to Slovenia and Montenegro.

You will notice that the book is infused with snapshots of Nature. While most people pass through life with their heads buried in technology, Tao sought a connection with the world around her. She took time to interact with the birds, feel the breeze over the ocean and dance with the sway of the trees. She drew energy from the Universe and lived the Oneness that underpins her philosophy.

In many ways, Shining Bright is a love letter to life--an invitation to live fully expressed. Open a page and meditate on it. Allow Tao's energy to leap from the book and into your being. As Tao demonstrated, you have the power within you to craft a vibrant life. Don't wait to start your great adventure. Take flight and see the world. Interact with the Living Universe. Hug a tree. Go whale watching. Do yoga with your dog. Take up ballroom dancing. Start the business that is in your dreams. Whatever stirs your soul, do it today. Put the intentional thoughts in this book into conscious action. Consult with your mind and lead with your heart. Live your Truth and share your Light. Be grateful and live each moment to the fullest. Choose joy and live SHINING BRIGHT!
