Tao, Janie and Terri in Chicago to Receive IPPY Award: Day 3

97-year-old Yoga Master Tao Porchon-Lynch and Mother-Daughter Writing Team in Chicago to Receive 2016 IPPY Award

May 12, 2016– Our schedule in Chicago was packed! On Tao’s last day (I stayed for BookExpo America), we had our popular Conversation with a Master event at Yogaview Chicago. It’s a multimedia experience which I moderated as usual. It was delightful to have my mother there–journalist Janie Sykes-Kennedy and co-author of Tao’s autobiography Dancing Light.

We’ve done this Conversation program around the world from New York and Kansas City to Slovenia and Dubai. Once again, we had a good crowd even though we posted it last minute. Much thanks to Cathy Beres for coordinating it and Lisa Pickert at Yogaview for being such a good host.

View all pictures from Day 3 in Chicago on Tao's blog. Be sure to spread the light by sharing this link and these hashtags: #ThisIs97 #TaoExp #TaoPorchonLynch.

If you haven’t already, order Tao’s long-awaited autobiography, Dancing Light: The Spiritual Side of Being Through the Eyes of a Modern Yoga Master, which has received endorsements from notables such as Dr. Deepak Chopra, Rodney Yee, Colleen Saidman Yee, David Swenson, Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum and many more!
